Kill The Bill

In 2021, the Home Office under Priti Patel brought forward draconian legislation to severely restrict the age-old right to public assembly and grant police sweeping new powers to disperse protests. These galleries document the movement that arose to oppose the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill — now largely enacted in law as the Public Order Bill. The movement, which saw mass mobilisation on the streets and the heaviest policing in Bristol's recent history, was known as Kill The Bill.

NOTE: This set is currently being updated. Some galleries are missing but will be availabile again soon.
